Bob and Kathie have been professional artists since 1970 and photographers since 1997. Bob’s artwork, reproductions, and photographs have been included in juried shows and are in many private collections. Jones Fine Art Images was honored by the makers of Fredrix Artist Canvas by displaying several of Bob’s images on a National sales tour, promoting his art and images printed onto their canvas.
Bob comes from a long line of artists. His father and grandfather were both celebrated artists and craftsmen. He has many years of experience as an industrial designer, inventor, and architect. The experience of using balance, perspective, and composition has greatly influenced his artistic ability. This helps him keep everything in proper proportion when composing his pictures. He has taught oil painting and composition in Heard County and at the State University of West Georgia’s Continuing Education Program.
Kathie has been an inspiration to the success of Mirror Image Photography. She is an artist and has a sharp eye for proper composition color and lighting. Being a mother and grandmother gives her the experience needed to work with children. The children can sense her kindness and love, which makes for a more pleasant photo experience.
Bob’s eleven years of experience in using the Photoshop editing software allows Mirror Image Photography to accurately edit your photos for color, contrast, brightness and composition. We have extensive experience with photo restoration and manipulation. We pride ourselves on producing high-quality, reasonably priced photographs of you, your family, your friends, and your loved ones, including your pets. We perform our own photo editing, cropping and resizing. Because we do all work in-house, you are guaranteed the highest possible level of photo excellence. We backup our files in several places.
The large-format Epson printer that Mirror Image Photography uses is the same professional printer that we use to reproduce fine art Giclees, portraits on canvas and photos for other artists and professional photographers throughout the South. Your photos can be printed on matte, glossy, or luster paper, as well as watercolor paper and artist canvas. We use only canvas, papers, and inks that are certified by the Wilhelm Testing Institution to maintain their quality minimum of 100 years. We can photograph indoors without flash, or we can use studio lighting. We also offer on-location photography including, but not limited to weddings, reunions, concerts, and other special occasions.
